What Are Boo Boo Bears? – Magically Made To Help Your Child Feel Better
Boo Boo Bears are magical creatures created by Gnomy for children all over the world. Gnomy’s Boo Boo Bears are filled with magical enchanted rice to soothe and make our children feel better when they get a boo boo. Boo Boo Bears are also packed with love to share.
Who is Gnomy?
Gnomy is a wonderful, good hearted mystical little creature that lives under a magical redwood tree in California. He loves to make boo boo bears for all the beloved little people of the world. He does a dance for joy every time a Boo Boo Bear is adopted.
Why Does Gnomy Make Boo Boo Bears?
Gnomy wants everyone to be happy, all the time. One day when he was out walking he heard, from the window of a house, a little child crying and tugging on their ear. He felt really sad. Gnomy thought to himself, what can I do to make this sweet little child feel better? He thought and thought, and thought again, for hundreds of years in Gnomy time is a split second in people years. Then it came to him!!! I will make Boo Boo Bears to make all the children of the world feel better. You see, Gnomy remembered back a long time ago, when he was just a little gnome, how much he loved the teddy bear his mommy gave him. So for hundreds of years, in Gnomy time of course, he designed and refined the Boo Boo Bears. Until they were just right. Check back often for Boo Boo Bear stories.
From The Author:
“I have read to over 1000 children in Bay Area schools. One day I read to about 100 kids at Vine Hill Elementary School, in Scotts Valley, and also visited and read to the children at Brook Knoll, West Lake Elementary and Montessori in Felton, California. The kids were so excited and really understood the message. If I get more feedback like this, in my mission to teach acceptance and love, these little guys will be wonderful teenagers!” – Anita Telle
A Little Different and All Perfect, which is the title of the winning entry in the Children’s Books category of the San Francisco Book Festival, is an impulsive, simple and engaging story which has been heaped with praise from teachers as a valuable educational tool, undoubtedly contributing to Anita’s recognition for her undying commitment and love of children. Telle firmly holds onto the belief that children best gain inspiration and encouragement through reading, particularly if the material read by the children or being read to the kids is fun, entertaining, educational and based on real life experiences and issues, vastly impacting and aiding their personal growth. “Grass root movement…even if I’m only one person, I can make a change”, she concludes.
Ms. Telle is extremely open to taking up the opportunity to meet with and read her book to Local schools & children’s organizations interested in the encouragement of reading as an educational tool that will definitely inspire the lives of children.
With a long, slow-brewed pedigree as an active advocate for the enrichment of children’s lives, Anita Telle’s anti-bullying month initiative to read her books to elementary school kids serves as just another one of her key contributions in continuously demonstrating her commitment and genuine love for children.
Would you consider volunteering? DO you have any extra time to maybe visit a few elementary schools and read from my book, discuss anti bullying message? If so, send me a message, I’ll let you know how you might get involved. Let’s make a difference to our children!
I will provide you with: a copy of my book, the script for how to discuss the subject with the little ones, and a “Bully shield” coloring page for the children to enter a “give away” contest.
